Stingray time

Today, I went for geog talk instead of PE.

After that, went to newton circus with XR.

We walked.

When we reached, there were so many stalls offering stingray.

NCC wasn't that bad.

Had quite abit of fun, especially in the k4.

Although, it seems like its the most lifeless race this year.

It also marks the end of all the canoeing championships this year.

I feel so tired.

So drained.

S.E.A canoeing champs will be held here in Singapore in december.

I want to give it a shot.

Hmm, we'll see how things go from here.

The journey to NCC

Day 1

We tried out the k4 today..

Me, Brian, Clifton and Lucas.

A few screw ups here and there.

Quite a few things to set straight before NCC this weekend.

Day 2

Today was wasted due to train.

Couldn't row.

We did some necessary adjustments to the boat.

Hopefully tomorrow we can try it out again.

K4 so fun. Funny.

4 k1 rowers will take sometime to get used to rowing together.

Day 3

Felt much better.

Balance still abit off here and there.

Take off is nice.

Need to work on transition.

Today was abit windy.

Day 4

I did not train today.

Went for consolidation lecture.

Need to study.

Promos in 2 months.

Hopefully can train tomorrow.

Well done ACSI canoeing team.

NJC finally lost the A div guys title after 6 years.

I'm proud to say that we lost to a better team.

A deserving team.

It was a good fight I have to say.

Lost by 2 points.

Definitely a fight to the finish.

It was down to the last second that races were won/lost.

A remarkable team.

We have a lot to work on in order to fight for the titles next year.

Even though they forego some events, they still emerge as champions.

Simply amazing.

I was not good enough to help the team this year.

Double events really kills.

After my 1000m race, I died out during my 500m.

Tired.

I can tell that the 500m was definitely not my best set.

From the starts I was already at the back.

I was too close for both 500m and 1000m.

Why could'nt I give the extra stroke when it matters the most?

I'm not strong enough.

Need to be stronger.

Tomorrow will be the start of national schools canoeing champs.
My race will be quite late in the afternoon so prolly be attending lessons in the morning.

How to race if got school in the morning?
This sucks.
Semis and finals for 500 and 1000 are quite close.
Like only 2hrs apart.
Shall take some supplements to recover inbetween races.
This is where the training comes in.
All the sets after sets after sets.
And ending them off with a race set.

I hope you know what you're doing.

I shall just whack all out.

all for the race next week.
Looking back at how far I've come from the noob I was 2.5 years back.
Previous results all don't matter now.
